Perform an analysis of the existing business processes to determine their adequacy to meet accounting and reporting needs and minimize operational risk in order to sustain aggressive global growth, increased complexity and volume of product mix, increased regulatory and compliance requirements and manage headcount expansion

On an aggressive 10-week schedule, Gravitas’ team collaborated with the client’s management team and business users to

  • Document current state baseline business process flow, and related systems
  • Identify areas that limit individuals from performing the process effectively or efficiently i.e." stress points” within each process flow
  • Provide preliminary recommendation for addressing stress points
  • Provide foundation from which to build an “implementation road map” to move the client from “current state” to a desired “future state”
Project Highlights
  • Created detailed questionnaires to prepare the Business Stakeholders, and accumulated information regarding applications and other data sources utilized
  • Conducted interviews with key employees from each business unit spanning the front, middle and back office, including administrative support groups such as legal, HR and accounting
  • Prepared detailed process flows for each “business unit”, noting interaction with other Client groups and highlighting stress points, indicating data sources required, step by step activities, applications utilized and process deliverables
